Through EcoExpo committee members we were introduced to Soren from SolSolutions. SolSolution is a nonprofit organization that provides underprivileged schools with grid-tied solar photovoltaic installations. Clean electricity is generated on-site for schools to use and even sell back to the local electric utility companies. According to agreements with the schools and school districts, funds previously budgeted to pay for a school’s electric bill will be spent on tangible educational resources. Their mission is to simultaneously generate clean, renewable electricity and increase the quality of education in underprivileged schools.
In the begining of March we began working with SolSolutions, designing their logo, website, brochure, poster, business cards, flyer and exhibition banner. We lunched the website on March 21st.
We were with SolSolution this weekend at Boston's Down2Earth Expo: An Exploration into Sustainable living, at the Hynes Convention Center. You can help spread the word about SolSolution and their mission, by going to their website, printing flyers and brochures and distributing the information.
